Ironfield Author Spotlight: Ian Orchid
Always the Sun by Ian Orchid
This week, Ironfield Publishing turns the Author Spotlight on Ian Orchid, author of the fast-paced mystery thriller Always the Sun—a story where stolen art, dangerous criminals, buried secrets, and unexpected love collide.
Some treasures are worth stealing. Some secrets are worth killing for.
Claude is no stranger to danger.
A skilled art thief who has spent years navigating a world of stolen masterpieces, hustlers, and career criminals, Claude knows that survival depends on knowing whom to trust.
Then he meets Maxine.
Beautiful, mysterious, and seemingly without a past, Maxine captures Claude's attention during a chance encounter in the Caribbean. What begins as an irresistible attraction follows them back to London, where their relationship quickly becomes something neither expected.
Unfortunately, Maxine isn't the only thing waiting for Claude in London.
As questions about her past begin surfacing, Claude finds himself pulled deeper into a violent criminal underworld populated by Russian gangsters, gun runners, thieves, pimps, and dangerous men who aren't accustomed to being told no.
With his loyal friend Spike beside him, Claude must navigate shifting alliances and deadly enemies while trying to protect the woman he's fallen for.
But there's one problem.
How do you protect someone when you aren't sure who she really is?
Crime, Mystery, and a Dangerous Romance
Ian Orchid delivers a stylish thriller that combines criminal intrigue with a passionate love story. At its center is a man accustomed to stealing valuable things who suddenly discovers something he desperately doesn't want to lose.
As Claude gets closer to discovering the truth about Maxine, the stakes continue to rise until Always the Sun races toward its startling conclusion.
For readers who enjoy international crime, dangerous characters, mysteries, romance, and stories where nobody can be completely trusted, Always the
