Case File: 012 No Cutting

By Ron Knight

Cut in line and someone might put a sticker on your back. If they do, Cutter is coming.

It started as a prank.

A small “No Cutting” sticker with a red slash began appearing at amusement parks, grocery stores, and anywhere else impatient people decided they shouldn't have to wait their turn.

Someone cuts the line.

Someone secretly marks them with the sticker.

Then, within twenty-four hours, Cutter appears.

Witnesses describe a seven-foot shadow-like figure wearing a yellow rubber mask marked by a bloody red slash. One hand is covered by a glove fitted with razor-sharp blades.

First come the scratching sounds.

Then the whispers.

“No cutting.”

After that, the victim doesn't have much time.

When people marked with the sticker begin turning up brutally murdered, investigators realize this isn't an urban legend anymore.

The stickers may actually be tagging victims for something supernatural.

But no one knows who created them.

No one knows how to stop Cutter.

And somewhere out there, more stickers are waiting to be used.

Case File: 012 — No Cutting by Ron Knight is a Hallowfield horror investigation into an urban legend, a supernatural killer, cursed stickers, unexplained murders, and a seemingly harmless prank with deadly consequences.

Next time someone cuts in front of you, remember:

Revenge might be as simple as a sticker.
