Case File: 028 Texas Goatman
By Ron Knight
Twenty people boarded a party bus headed for a music festival. Then someone suggested one quick stop at Goatman Bridge.
The group had traveled from Orlando, Florida, looking for music, partying, and a road trip they'd never forget.
Shortly after midnight, their bus pulled onto Old Alton Bridge in Denton, Texas—a place surrounded by stories of a half-man, half-goat creature known as the Goatman.
They knew the legend.
They stopped anyway.
Within hours, contact with the group was lost.
The abandoned party bus was later discovered with claw-like gouges across its exterior, a shattered rear window, and evidence of a violent struggle inside.
Phones, clothing, and personal belongings were scattered around the bridge and nearby creek.
Then investigators recovered the footage.
A passenger's phone captured a large horned silhouette moving through the fog.
The bus's recording system picked up something else.
Growling.
And a sound that investigators couldn't identify.
Witnesses in the surrounding area describe seeing something with the head of a goat and the body of a man.
The passengers remain missing.
And whatever happened after that party bus stopped at Goatman Bridge remains unexplained.
