Case File: 031 Revenge of Halloween
By Ron Knight
Halloween is October 31st. Change the date and Halloween will change it back for you.
It started with convenience.
Towns across America began moving trick-or-treating, parades, and Halloween celebrations to different nights because the weekend worked better.
Then the incidents began.
In one Ohio town, Halloween was celebrated two days early. That night, every streetlight went dark at once, pumpkins rotted within minutes, and children's laughter echoed through empty streets.
In Vermont, shadow figures appeared in mirrors and residents watched what they described as “the calendar bleeding.”
In Illinois, an early Halloween parade suddenly changed direction when participants felt themselves being pulled toward a cemetery.
Different towns.
Different incidents.
One thing in common.
They changed Halloween.
Investigators now believe October 31st may be more than a date on the calendar. It could be a supernatural anchor—a night when the boundary between worlds changes and forces older than our traditions expect Halloween to be observed exactly when it belongs.
Move it to October 30th.
Celebrate it November 1st.
Choose the nearest Saturday because it's more convenient.
Halloween doesn't care.
Case File: 031 — Revenge of Halloween by Ron Knight is a Hallowfield investigation into Halloween folklore, paranormal attacks, haunted towns, supernatural traditions, and what happens when people tamper with the most dangerous night of the year.
