Case File: 009 N9NE Teen Ghosts

By Ron Knight

Nine teenagers. Nine colors. Nine ghosts trying to drag them into the grave.

It always begins the same way.

A teenager sees a certain color.

Then comes the sound.

Click. Click. Click.

And then their ghost appears.

Nine students from the same rural high school are being stalked by spectral entities unlike anything investigators have encountered. Each teenager has been assigned a color—and each color appears connected to something buried inside them.

Red follows anger and guilt.

Green feeds on envy.

Purple hides within secrets.

Yellow appears with fear.

And five more colors carry their own terrifying meaning.

Once triggered, the teenager's ghost materializes and attempts to drag its victim toward a grave—a dark pit, open ground, a shadowed corner, or something only the victim can see.

Now the nine teenagers are terrified of everyday colors. They suffer from insomnia, paranoia, and the constant fear of hearing those three sounds again.

Attempts to record the ghosts produce only static and distorted colors.

Even worse, when the nine teenagers are together, the phenomenon becomes stronger.

T.I.P.S.—Teens Investigating Paranormal Situations—is searching for the connection between the students, their colors, and the entities hunting them.

Because these ghosts may not simply represent what the teenagers fear.

They may represent who the teenagers really are.

Case File: 009 — N9NE Teen Ghosts by Ron Knight is a Hallowfield investigation into color-coded hauntings, psychological terror, teenage secrets, spectral manifestations, and nine ghosts determined to pull their victims across the line between life and death.

See the color.

Hear the sound.
