The Mechanic
By Norman Sinclair
He was trained to kill for his country. Now he kills for whoever pays the price.
Young, disciplined, and hardened by the army, a former soldier returns to civilian life with a dangerous set of skills—and nowhere to use them.
Then a powerful criminal syndicate offers him a new career.
He becomes The Mechanic.
A name. A target. A payment.
A problem permanently solved.
At first, the arrangement is simple. Complete the assignment, collect the money, and disappear.
But every kill pulls The Mechanic deeper into a ruthless criminal underworld where loyalty is temporary, betrayal is expected, and everyone has a price.
Soon, the people giving him orders may be more dangerous than the targets he's being paid to eliminate.
And The Mechanic discovers that the hardest part of becoming a professional assassin isn't pulling the trigger.
It's surviving long enough to find a way out.
The Mechanic by Norman Sinclair is a fast-paced crime thriller filled with contract killings, criminal syndicates, betrayal, danger, and a former soldier discovering that some careers don't come with a retirement plan.
Once they know what you're capable of, they never really let you leave.
