Roxy's Emporium has been bringing that spirit of discovery to Lorain County since 2017.
What began as an idea for a unique and fun shopping experience has continued to grow. In 2025, Roxy's moved from its original Middle Avenue location to The Shoppes on Broad mini mall at 374 Broad Street in Elyria.
It Started With a Love of Books
Roxy's love of books became the foundation for a cozy bookstore offering something for nearly every kind of reader.
Customers can browse fiction, nonfiction, children's books, comic books, graphic novels, older and unusual titles, and much more. Many gently used books are available for less than half their original cover price.
Roxy's also supports writers close to home with a growing collection of new books from local authors.
That commitment to books and local writers makes Roxy's an especially natural partner for the Fieldhouse Community Alliance.
More Than a Bookstore
There's a reason it's called an Emporium.
Roxy's expanded its bookstore by adding a gift shop filled with wonderful and unusual merchandise from local artists, crafters, designers, and vendors.
To keep the shopping experience interesting, Roxy's maintains a policy that no two vendors offer the same product. That means customers can discover something different as they explore the shop.
You'll find artwork, photography, jewelry, handcrafted products, seasonal merchandise, limited-edition items, and gifts for a variety of budgets.
A Home for Local Artists
In June 2026, Roxy's took its support for local creativity another step forward with the addition of Our Little Gallery, a dedicated space showcasing local artists.
It's another example of what makes Roxy's special.
